• The Rays and Tigers were locked in a scoreless tie heading into the ninth inning, and there were already two outs when Tampa Bay scored seven runs to turn a pitching duel into a laugher.
• The Phillies set a franchise record with 14 home runs in their four-game series sweep of the Nationals, with Rhys Hoskins going deep once in each game and rookie Darick Hall homering twice in Sunday's finale.
