The Trade Deadline was over a month ago, and our heads are still spinning. Every deal felt huge. Juan Soto to the Padres! Josh Hader to the Padres! Luis Castillo to the Mariners! An out-of-nowhere Yankees-Cardinals swap! But now that it's September, teams have settled into who they are, and we're all strapping in for the final stretch.
So, what have we learned since Aug. 2? Well for one, sometimes a trade works out for neither team. But that's not all! | |

| Adley Rutschman and Michael Harris II (among others) have been impressive, but the J-Rod Show has been the blockbuster hit of the season. | | |
| With the postseason format having been altered to a 12-team field for the '22 season, it's a good time to look back from the earliest playoff series all the way up to today's expanded Wild Card. | | |
| Christian Yelich's 499-foot blast last night was mighty impressive -- and the longest of the season. But it didn't top No. 1 since Statcast began tracking. | | |
| Mets closer Edwin Díaz, who's been a sensation this season, has committed to representing Puerto Rico at next March's World Baseball Classic. | | |
| Triple plays are always awesome. But we're not sure if you can top the one from 1935 that was not only a walk-off, it started with a liner straight off the third baseman's head. | | |
| Christian Yelich's 499-foot HR was the second-longest hit at Coors Field since 2015. Which one of his former teammates hit the longest? | |
