Plus: Top contenders for All-MLB honors
The All-Star Game gives us a chance to honor the top players of (roughly) the first half, but in 2019, Major League Baseball introduced the "All-MLB Team" to provide a more comprehensive accounting of the season's best. All-MLB honors are voted on by both fans and an expert panel after the season, with first- and second-team honorees revealed in December. While what happens over the next several weeks will go a long way toward determining the 2023 All-MLB Team, it's worth taking a look at where things stand right now.
