Brewers shortstop Willy Adames met his boyhood hero, played card games during a rain delay, legged out a Little League home run and even made a couple of mistakes in Milwaukee's 9-2 win over the Yankees on Saturday at Yankee Stadium.
The Brewers are scoring in bunches and getting stellar relief at the most serious juncture of the season, but Adames' pregame glee after a meeting with Derek Jeter reminded everyone that this is also meant to be fun. | |
